Storefront WooCommerce Customizer – Add WooCommerce elements like a shopping cart to your site’s header. Easily customize your homepage, shop and product details layout and design.

Storefront Parallax Hero – Add a killer hero element to your store.

It’s great to see functionality that was once embedded within a single theme, broken out into separate plugins. It makes for a much simpler back-end and easier to kick start a project. Also reduces the learning curve for new users. I’m excited to see this new direction expand with more Storefront extensions being released in coming months.
